
I am a registered doctor, acupuncturist and psychotherapist, having graduated from UCH medical school, the British College of Acupuncture and the Institute for the Development of Human Potential. I have practised holistic medicine since 1976, and am a member of the British Acupuncture Council, the British Medical Acupuncture Society, the British Holistic Medical Association and the Scientific Medical Network.
I have taught and examined at numerous colleges of complementary therapies, in the UK and abroad. I was MSc course leader in the School of Integrated Health at the University of Westminster until relocating; now I teach for Peninsula Medical School and for the Open University, as well as running courses in acupuncture for health professionals.
My current research focus is a comprehensive review of the use of acupuncture in podiatry.
