I am a retired acupuncturist and psychotherapist, having graduated from UCH medical school, the British College of Acupuncture and the Institute for the Development of Human Potential. I practised holistic medicine from 1976 to 2014, and am a member of the British Acupuncture Council, the British Medical Acupuncture Society and the British Holistic Medical Association. I am registered with the GMC but no longer maintain a Licence as I am retired from medical practice.
I have taught and examined at numerous colleges of complementary therapies, in the UK and abroad, and offer courses in acupuncture for health professionals. Formerly I taught for Peninsula Medical School and for the Open University. I was MSc course leader in the School of Integrated Health at the University of Westminster until relocating.
My current research focus is a comprehensive review of the use of acupuncture in podiatry.
